Stolen Bikes

Hello All A good friend of mine has had a 07 Beta REV 4 and an 06 Beta REV 3 250 stolen. The 2 bikes were taken from his van , which was parked outside his house in Herne Bay , Kent in the early hours of Friday 7 December . The bikes are normally kept in an alarmed garage but he was having some work done in the garage so he put then in the van to keep them out of the mess. Just spotted this on eBay, may be a perfectly plausible reason for someone breaking a 2007 Rev 3 ........ just seems a bit odd though !! Ebay link Martin

Hi, My friend has had his shed raided last night, padlocks were cut off the shed, the chains were cut from around the bike and then the gate padlocks were cut off also. The bikes were: 2010 Beta Evo 250 but with 2012 decals on white palstics. 2010 Beta Evo 80 The evo 80 was only bought for his little last week and ridden for the first time at the weekend I will post the frame numbers up when im told them, there is a reward for these bikes being recovered as well, any info greatly appreciated.

On the 21st April at 11:30pm UK Trials dealer SplatShop were hit by a break-in. 5 people were involved with the burglary and came in 2 vehicles, please see the pictures below. Please give me some feed back here, would it help to have a registry for bikes? Maybe someone could then check at the comps to make sure all the bikes there are legitimately owned, not stolen. I'd be happy to help in any way. I'd do a website for the registry if needed.

I received a phone call of a mate of mine on Thursday morning someone tried to have his bike away on Wednesday 17th. He lives in Igleby Barwick (thornaby) they smashed his van window and pushed his van forward to tackle his garage door once they managed to get through the lock on the door the house alarm went off so they left. Both were on the same system luckily. When he rang the police and they eventually turned up they commented on the this was the forth one tonight... and they think its a group from hemlington.. So just a word of warning to the local riders of Middlesbrough / Stockton area.

A friend had a TY250 twin shock stolen white, frame number and engine number 483-300903 and his friends Fantic 301 with a twinshock conversion, so a fairly unique bike, colour Red, frame number is 7378 engine number 7445. Police think that they were an organised/planned thieft so if you hear of either of the bikes please let me know (matt12752000@yahoo.co.uk)...and maybe we can stop these nasty people that want to stop the rest of us honest people enjoying the things we work hard to buy! A mate of mine had a couple of bikes taken from the Reeth Road area of Richmond last night approx 3.30am the police reckon. The bikes were were last seen in the Skerne park part of Darlington,(According to Police) The bikes were taken from our garage in Richmond. What the police suspect is that they have been ridden from Richmond to Darlington at approx 3:40 (First hearing / sighting) to 4:20am roughly. HI All am happy to report the recovery of one the two bikes we had stolen 6wks ago. Its taken a lot of time and energy something am happy to wright about at a later date.. But for now am still looking for my sons Christmas present.... I believe now that the Montesa has been recovered the other bike ,the 125 txt 2006 gas gas will go on the market somewhere ....ebay ,guntree or local papers somewhere. And if you are actively looking for your stolen bike don't give up otherwise these xxxxxxx have won. Hi, my Montesa was stolen about a week ago. After only owning this bike for 13 days, it is, well, very annoying to say the least. The bike has a very obvious mount on its front number plate for a litre bottle of petrol and i have made the best photo of the bike i could find my profile picture so you can see what it looks like. If anyone has any information or finds anything could they please let me know. Also if anyone has any advice on what to do to possibly get the bike back i would appreciate it greatly. Thanks, Alex

Thieves broke into my garage in Almondsbury, North Bristol on the evening of Monday 11th June 2018 and stole my excellent condition and much loved 2004 Scorpa SY-250. It has dark blue PVC tape on the frame down members and a dent on the rear section of the exhaust outlet. It was fitted with some Trials Control footrests made by Chris Wrigley and I also replaced the rear slotted brake disk with a solid one from a Montesa. The frame number is: 400351 (*VVU6GY*)
