The calendar has now been sent out - and I see it has been copied form Bob Mullis site. It was also sent to TC at same time if not before! The Championship conditions/regulations are about to be sent to the Organisers - and a little tweeking may be done to a few over next few days. The British Solo Chamopionship Conditions/Format etc will not be finalised until after meeting with Orgainisers in Dec. Champ riders and top 6 Expert Class will also be invited to meetings along with Importers etc.I can confirm that Brit Champ - both Champ and Expert Clas will include a 125cc class next year. Just a few other things prior to condition confirmation - mostly as discussed at r…

I am currently producing a spreadsheet/database system using MS Excel which simplifies the task of entering the scores and producing nicely presentable data for the entrants/website. The system uses the LOOKUP suite of functions in MS Excel which scans a list of names which you can call up using a drop down menu and adds them to your master list putting in, class/machine & club automatically. No manual entry is required. After this is done, at the end of the trial, the only thing needed to enter is the results from each section and when thats done, This Sheet is automatically generated. No manual sorting or anything is needed. There are times when peeps either ret…

I have just read in TMX that the BFD club are running the anual Boxing Day trial under the WTC rules!!!!!!! What is the point in this, have'nt we got too many different sets of rules already with two. Why introduce another? I am sure the majority of riders would rather have a normal ride round on a Boxing Day full of Turkey & Booze than attempt to wreck themselves & there bikes. It seems to me that this event catering for the minority, and not the majority! The sport is never going to entice more poeple from the Clubmans course onto the hard course with this type of event! Are the club planning on running more events like this? Or is this just a one off? If …

Addingham Moorside Closure. I have been contacted by my Club, Yeadon Guiseley & District Motor Club, who has sole use of Addingham for organised events, to issue a statement regarding the future of trials at this venue. Our club secretary Sue Smith is in regular contact with the landowner, and has received the following news this morning. Mr Alan Fothergill has received a written order from the council, stating that he must pad-lock the gate forthwith, and not allow this piece of land to be used for any kind of motorcycle use, either practicing or organised events run by our club Yeadon Guiseley for at least 12 months! This has very serious implications for some p…

See the link below https://www.trialscentral.com/news-archive/sub-headlines/21115-british-championship-returns-to-stop-allowed What's people's thoughts? Personally I think it sounds kinda silly. Even if you don't like the current fim rules I always think you should follow them to best help our riders that compete on the world scene.

Not done this one before. The entry acceptance email mentions leaving a fuel can at a garage a few miles away from the start. Is this the only fuel stop required for the AJ? Is this still required if we have a support vehicle, or is there nowhere for the vans to get near us? Or is it just a question of designated fuel stops because of the environment issues? Cheers.
