The Stratford-Upon-Avon Club are holding a round of the National Trail Bike Championship on 23rd Sept. The OK Supreme LDT. Starting at Blackwell Village Hall, the trial will follow a 75mile route around the Cotswold hills. Taking in many minor back roads, tracks, trails and a lot of private land around the course, riders will be faced with 26 sections set out suitable for trail and enduro bikes. As the OK Supreme traditionally has very easy, wide sections; the organisers will be putting in six 'championship route' sections with an additional hard route to test the regular front runners in the series. Enduro News It is reported on the Enduro News website that KTM are pulling out of the Paris - Dakar, due to the new rules limiting the engine sizes to a max 450cc. Seems a very strange decision for the organisers, after all the image that springs to mind for the Dakar is Comas and Despres on the KTM 690 Rally Bikes.

Hi all does anyone anywhere run vintage enduro events? ive got a couple of old(read it175/ pe175) bikes that i'd love to give a good outing but where? please dont suggest turning up at the latest TBEC event with one of these! i'tll be like turning up at the local trial and riding a sherpa 325 on the hard route against scorpa's, betas, etc!!! ,

Any one got any advice for preventing blisters? I have tried quite a lot of things including chalk. It works for a bit but wares of eventually and then the blisters start.

After many other ideas about cures for my mid life crisis including a Nissan skyline, Mitsubishi Evo, Subaru Imprezza, Hayabusa, TVR Tuscan and a whole host of other stoooopid ideas, I'm looking at a much cheaper option tomorrow in Bristol - a KTM 640 Supermoto. This has sprung from a long line of standstill roadworks on my way to work and the fact that if I don't get there before 7.30 it takes me half an hour longer, plus the fact that I'd like another road bike, especially if it's one i can dabble off road with. Hello folks, I Fancy having ago at enduro on my trials bike and have a few questions, I was wondering if anyone knows of any events coming up in/near lincolnshire? Do they have a class for trials bikes? Will I be able to ride with my acu trials registration or will I need to get another liscence? Also any tips on modding the bike? I think I will put a 14t front sprocket on it. but will I need anything else? Any info is welcome Cheers Spike

Hi all This will probably open up a can of worms but I am up for a good argument. After hearing the news that David Knight has won the Last Man standing for the second time in a row with Wayne Braybrook second. I was wondering if he could be considered the best enduro rider at the moment and maybe the best of all. It is clear that Stephan Merriman and the Edmondson brothers are very fast. Hell I would call them extremely fast as well as many others in the WEC but no one seems to be on par with David Knight. having checked out next years event ( 01/01 -15/01) agian in south america i could count only two uk motor cycles no quads a car and two trucks, i think this must be the lowest uk entry..
