I bought a battery less Ice Hell in March. Worked the World Round last weekend. My AZ dealer has new maps particularly for high elevation. Would have gotten it loaded but didn't have my scoot with me. Anyone get the new map yet? I live and ride at 7000' elevation. Sometimes up to 10k' sometimes sea level. Thanks. Checking world round was great. Most of the GP2 women and many of the GP 2 men and GP women were nice and thanked us on the last loop. Many of the top GP men and their minders were cheaters, grooming and basically jerks. I didn't give a yellow card but threatened. FIM should give financial penalties and clean up the sport.... End of rant. ;o)

Whats everyones thoughts on this ? I'm not over keen on the colours but if you look at what you get extra for the couple of hundred quid over a std bike its a bargin http://vertigomotors.com/en/news/?fbclid=IwAR1nm5uf6QDJ98e-trRia8GUVU-QbH4rF7wmeb1iW1x37Mm-mUKy5hk5yB8

I've just been cleaning my nitro's battery compartment and pressed the test button on the battery and theres no lights on... With never owning one before I would imagine that the battery should hold some charge? and any ideas or how to diagnose what the problem is? Anyone got any experience in this as there's absolutely diddly about it in the manual or online about it Thanks in advance Mick

Just taken delivery of a new 250. Vertigo have got rid of the 9V battery. Bike was built Jan 2017. Apologies to existing owners, I forgot to ask if they can eliminate this on earlier bikes. Very pleased so far!

hello, I have a vertigo replica Fajardo 300. I had problems with the crankshaft bearings, and since I changed them, my motorcycle when it wants it does not have a spark in the spark plug when it is hot. In motion it never stops, but when trying to start when it seems to it, it does not spark. any ideas to look at?

Do these bike run quieter, i.e. with less 'popping', if run on richer or leaner maps? Or does the bike always sound the same at or near idle? I ride around my property sometimes and a quiet bike is preferred:

Hi, I'm the proud owner of a 2nd hand 2019 DL 250. I'm new to the brand and am discovering the fan is a little noisy. I've been told by the importer that this is normal for vertigos. I also know the prior owner and am told this is normal from him as well. I'm looking at testing some aftermarket options that are quieter. I want to disrupt the existing wiring loom as little as possible, so I'm looking to acquire some of these connectors so I can test out a few options. Anyone know what they are called or where I can get some? Regards, David.

There's been interesting discussions regarding oil mix ratios for Vertigos. I'm interested in what brand of oils folks are running in their machines. I'm in North America where the recommended Rock Oil isn't readily available. I like Motul 710 although unsure if it can be run at .75%... Thanks for any recommendations.

Afternoon everyone ! just a quick one if I may ? i regularly change my gear oil after every 3 rides, each ride being about 4 hours. i notice it change colour from a lovely golden brown to a dark brown almost black. does this sound about right or should I be changing it more often ? the bikes a 2018 vertigo and I use the proper Castrol Transmax z synthetic oil. heres an example after 3 rides :-

Anyone else getting a lot of what seems like oil around the shifter? It almost looks like the countershaft seal is leaking, but I haven't confirmed the source yet. Another vertigo here shows the same thing.

I’ve got a small oil leak coming from the seal around the gear shaft, it’s on the vertigo parts list as a lip seal is this just a standard oil seal ?

  17. Hi. Rider lives in South Korea. The light linkage support was broken during zap zap practice. There is no place to buy in South Korea. So I would appreciate it if you could let me know the global delivery site where you can purchase this component. I want to thank you in advance. It's translated into a language translator, so please understand if it's weird.

Hello, could you tell me what could be the problem with starting a cold engine? I have to put the bike on a stand and kick it as hard as I can about 20 times. After starting, the bike starts right after turning off the engine, but if it sits for 2 minutes, it is very difficult to start again, sometimes even impossible. The bike has a lot of mileage (about 1000 engine hours). After purchasing it from the previous owner, I replaced the fuel filter, fuel pump, injector, hose clamps in the gas tank, ignition coil and condenser in an attempt to find the problem. After that, everything got better, but the problem remains. Direct fuel injection into the intake manifold helps; in…
