Whats the feed back from the guys riding the Yam engine'd bike then? good, bad, indifferent?.

i am impressed by the 4 storke scorpa as its well nice but has any body seen one before

See pictures of the 2014 model doing the rounds, looks like a sherco with a normal petrol tank?

Are the mods on the tys125f really worth doing? the exhaust mod and pilet jet? will this stop my scorpa from being a bit hard to start from cold and sometimes backfiring/missfiring at low revs? James

well i 've ordered an 08 250f scorpa, can't wait to get it probably take about a fortnight!! i thought about all the different 4 strokers and ended up ordering my 5th scorpa!!!

I know this was a subject sometime ago and the new bike is due to be shown soon , on the last topic it was discussed what engine would be used ,and the only 250 Yams out at the time were WR250 and TTR250 Well i know it is only speculation and all that, but has the new Serow not recently been released with a 250 engine !! And anyone who has ridden the old Serow will testify what a super little torquey trail bike that was with only 225cc's hmmm ???

Hello, Can someone please help me? I'm looking to buy a secondhand Scorpa SY250 and would like to know how I can tell the differance between a 2002-2003 &2004 models other than the frame colour. Also how do you recongise a UK model from an import. One last question is there any specific weak points I need to look out for? Hi, Ive just bought an 03 sy 250 r and want to spend a day on it before changing the oil, and other things. My question is - Is the little bolt, about 40mm up from the bottom of the crank case the oil level indicator. What is the best gear oil. What is the best premix oil - I currently use " silkolene comp 2 plus sx " At what ratio, I heard 70 -1 ( is this 16ml per 1000 ) What fuel, Unleaded or high octane super unleaded. A;so, what plug. Sorry for all the questions, but I like to start off right, and then if things go wrong they only go a little bit wrong... All help gratefully recieved and accepted......any advice is good advice........as long as it isn't sh*t …

Ive just bought an 04 Sy250, I was wondering which fuel mixture to run it on, it was previously run on 50:1. I was wondering what you guys would recommend. Is there any other things that i should watch out for when maintaining this bike? Also i know that on the frames of Sys they tend to get rub marks where boots rub against the frame, as the frame is in blue i can always touch this up, however have any of you found another way of protecting the frame, e.g. putting carbon fibre type bits to help protect it. Thanks a lot guys, any tips for a first time Scorpa owner would be great. Nj

HI to the Scorpa owners, I am considering buying a modern bike but (for some strange reason) I fancy one of the little four stroke Scorpas, question is would I be better holding out for a 175, and which 175 ??? apparently there are 143cc and 160cc 175,s so from experience I think the 125 would be underpowered so advice on which one to buy would be appreciated, and if anyone has one for sale let me know. one other thing, I have read somewhere that these bikes were also sold with different spec suspension some better than others or is that just heresay ? Thanks for any help.

Do Yamaha put as much input into the scorpa as honda do the montesa?

Hello i can buy a brand new Scorpa Sy250fr for a verry low price (2008 model). I now ride a Rev 3 2 stroke but would like to change to 4-stroke. Is there someone who have experience with the 4-stroke scorpa? Greathings Luc The belgium rider.

i currently ride a gas gas pro 250 at (rather poor ) clubman B level and im looking to change my bike in the fairly near future , and i really fancy a 175 4t scorpa , i like the look, the simplicity and the individuality but will it be right for me ? i know i can only answer that question ultimately but what are the owners views , what are the advantages?? pitfalls ??

Hi, I've been looking at the new Scorpa T-ride and quite fancy one. Has anyone seen one in the flesh or had a go on one? I like the idea of one to go green laning on. Can they be made road legal? If you wanted to could you do a trial on one or would the forks make the turning circle to big? Any info would be good. Kevin
